Warm Blessings

New Location & 2nd Anniversary at College Height UMC Fellowship Hall

Warm Blessings, Inc. (WB) is a non-profit (501c3) organization dedicated to ministering to the whole person. The corporation is organized for the purpose of providing meals to hungry people with the vision to offer emergency shelter to people in crisis.

Warm Blessings began Ministry at College Heights United Methodist Church July 17, 2006.  The ministry met in the College Heights UMC Fellowship Hall and Kitchen for 3 years and 6 months.  CHUMC donated one of their Church Vans to Warm Blessings for the ministry.

Exciting News!  As of December 14, 2009, Warm Blessings relocated to the new location at the old Party Plus Store at 609 E. Dixie Avenue.  Warm Blessings is also serving four nights a week now, instead of only three.  Many thanks go out to all the wonderful volunteers who made this relocation possible!  College Height UMC celebrates the moving to the new location and encourages all to support this community-wide ministry.

Hot meals are served from 5:30 to 7:00 pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings in the new location.  The goal is to serve patrons with dignity and compassion.

Warm Blessings provides van pickup in limited areas.  Please contact Warm Blessings at (270) 737-2929, to learn more.
